Using Conscious Breathing Tools In Daily Life

by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
a couple of days ago I shared an article called “Understanding The Alchemy Of Conscious Breathing”. In this piece I explained details about the conscious inner transformation process we can create for ourselves, when we are aware how to navigate our own breath. So today I would like to share some more tools how to apply breathing to your personal practice.

A highly potent energy field to work with is the essence of the Ascended Master Saint Germain. Ascended Master Saint Germanin is the chohan of the sevens divine ray – the violet ray of transformation. He is the master alchemist of the sacred inner fire, who carries the flame of the violet fire for us. This inner fire provides us with the ability to transform, transmute, elevate and shift every emotional pattern inside of us, into higher vibration and devotion to express divine purity.
When we look at the power of transformation that the inner fire of alchemy is holding for us, than it also makes sense to acknowledge how our breathing is the key to master this alchemical process. As we change layer by layer, and transform our momentary state of being into a higher vibrating version of our TRUE SELF, we manifest more and more light into our physical body and become the shining beings outside, that we always have been by soul. Use the prayers below to integrate a higher awareness in your breathing rhythm and physical body.

Master Saint Germain
In the name of the mighty victorious Presence of God, the
I AM,
Christ Consciousness within me,
I call to the beloved Master Saint Germain
and the transforming powers of the violet fire

Violet Flame Prayer
I AM a being of violet fire
I AM the purity God desires.

In general there is not “one correct way” of breathing. There are particular breathing techniques for yoga, for power walking, for swimming, a proper breathing for martial arts, a technique for taichi, playing the trumpet requires different breathing than singing does, and so on. You get my point! Anyway, here are four techniques you can give a try – in case you don’t have a favorite version jet!

#1: for practice in a private environment

  • Sit cross-legged in a quiet room or contained space.
  • Close your eyes.
  • Using your thumb, cover up your right nostril, and breathe deeply through your left nostril for a count of 6.
  • Pause for a count of 2.
  • Remove your thumb, and cover your left nostril with your forefinger, and exhale completely through your right nostril for a count of 6. Repeat 10 to 15 times.

#2: for practice in public spaces

  • Close your eyes if you feel safe to do so.
  • Inhale through your nose evenly and deeply for a count of 8.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Exhale completely through your nose for a count of 8.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Repeat 10 to 15 times.

#3: to help you fall asleep

  • Keeping your eyes closed, and lying flat on your back in bed, deeply inhale through your nose for a count of 6.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Slowly exhale completely through your nose for a count of 6.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Deeply inhale through your nose for a count of 8.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Exhale completely through your nose for a count of 8.
  • Repeat steps, each time increasing the count by two until you stretch your breath out for as many counts as you can—try to get to 12! Once you’ve done this, repeat 10 times.

    #4: for deep relaxation

For even deeper relaxation while the mind is still very active – try focusing on an affirmation during your inhales and exhales. For example you can think the word “I” on your inhale and “AM” , can, do, feel, (what ever works for your situation – be creative!!) …. on your exhale….. Keep doing that for 3-5minutes and deeper layer can open from inside.

Once your mind has calmed down you can also switch your awareness to different body parts and their gentle, natural movement that comes with breathing in and breathing out. That will allow the awareness you are creating to sink even deeper into your daily life expressions.
Breath

Dear Ones, I hope this steps can help you feel safe and confident in your self-guidance while we are going thru the intense waves of so many collective changes these year!! Allow your breath to take you into a profound connection with your true self and life it self these days! Keep breathing deeply and have a little faith in yourself!
Blessings an Love!

Understanding The Alchemy Of Conscious Breathing

bre

by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
the intense energetic movement that the recent New Moon in Cancer with total solar eclipse has unleashed into the awakening process of the human collective is slowly fading and we are more and more able to take in the details for what has shifted for us all individually. The perfect time to regain clarity and direction from our soul’s guidance. Quite a while ago I shared a post called awakening the Inner Alchemist in which I talked about the Ascended Master Saint Germain and the violet flame of conscious transformation, he is providing as a divine quality. This flame is the representation of our capability to change and transform our momentary state of being – into a higher vibrating version of our TRUE SELF), and this fire needs your passionate breathing to stay alive and hungry.
To be more specific: the intensity in which the fire of transformation inside you is burning – depends on your conscious understanding and conscious use of your breath. The thump rule is, the deeper we dive into studying and understanding the magical alchemy that our breath provides, the more alive blissful and inter-connected we feel in our daily life. Simply breathing in and out LIFE ITSELF.

Allow me to explain a bit more about the Alchemy of Breathing. When we decide to go thru the materialization process of becoming human beings, we are in our natural state of pure light and divine bliss. Our divine spirit than spirals down true the different layer of density, what we call dimensions, and begin to form a physical body within the body of our future mother. In co-creation of existence on Planet Earth, this physical manifestation is build from the Elementscalled the platonic solids.  And here lays the surprise and most important secret…. while we are creating our bodies, and our mothers feel matter growing… all that we feel is the stat of divinely blissful, warm water.
So WATER is the first element we materialize on the planet! And that goes further… ever if we are born and our doctor is hitting our but… we still only feel water…. UNTIL we make the first conscious decision on planet earth – to take the first deep BREATH! In the millisecond we do so, it all comes together as one. Our Breath activates our awareness of being a spiritual being expressed in a physical manifestation – our body awareness and sensory self kick in, the EARTH element is born… and that activates the FIRE of LIFE and SURVIVAL….     the same fire you use when you breath in awareness, the violet flame of transformation and ascension, into your everyday life here and now.
That is the true and infinite power of you SIMPLE BREATHING. And it all happens under the supervision of the HOLY SPIRIT within. Remember to be kind and practice self-compassion, what ever is going on!!

platonic-solids-and-elements

Based on this bigger picture I think it is not hard to understand, that practicing conscious breathing helps improve our well being on a physical level. Which includes pain and symptom release for high blood pressure, migraines, headaches, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, depression, asthma, insomnia, nervousness, self-doubt, concentration loss, muscular tension, bad sleep, and that its a boost for the immune system. But also on a spiritual level we can boost our evolution, by connecting the dots in our mind – when we are in mindful breathing exercise.
Becoming aware of the way we breathe, helps us reconnect to our inner place of peace, in the most challenging situations of everyday life!! Such a simple, build in tool, and such a divine abundance of use for the collective awakening of humanity! So call on the Master Saint Germain and the violet flame for your next conscious step in your personal evolution! You can make it as easy as repeating the prayers below, while reading the text above over and over (make it 3, 7 or 9 or 13 repetitions)!! And try deep breathing the next time you find yourself reaching for a pain reliever, you are feeling stressed out, are depressed, have problems with your sleep or need a momentary extra boost of physical power!

Master Saint Germain
In the name of the mighty victorious Presence of God, the
I AM,
Christ Consciousness within me,
I call to the beloved Master Saint Germain
and the transforming powers of the violet fire

Violet Flame Prayer
I AM a being of violet fire
I AM the purity God desires.

Our Psychic Abilities Have Increased – Creating A Healing Friendship With Trees

onnenby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
just a month ago, when we passed the powerful Pisces New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse, we collectively had the chance to open our physical channels and develop a deep inner connection with the elemental forces of nature. Just about a week ago, I talked about the fact that our psychic abilities have collectively increased, and that brings strength to this inner relationships. One of the realms we can exchange with, is the Kindom of the weeds, flowers, bushes and trees that are surrounding us. A conscious interaction between the Nature Kingdom and the human race, is as old as human life itself! Our pagan ancestors worshiped trees. In many traditions in Europe, trees are admired for their magical, healing and grounding powers.

A personal message to all my facebook friends!! FB is limiting the distribution of my posts daily more. If you resonate with my articles and are used to find my work  shared in a group, rather sign up on my newsletter here to make sure you get the information!!! Over time I might not be able to put in the FB time, if it does not lead to what it is about – SPREADING THE WORD ;-)!

It is known, that Plato and Aristotle received their deepest insights in the olive groves around Athens. Buddha found enlightenment beneath a bo tree, and Isaac Newton received his “gravity theory” while watching an apple fall from the tree, under which he was sitting.
Scientific research confirmed that simple being in a green environment reduces the human stress level and blood pressure, has a positive effect on mental illnesses, on depression, helps with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), concentration problems, increases your reaction time – as well as deeply nurtures body and soul. The sounds, smells, sights, the texture and the taste of the air tickle our senses, which leads to improved health and well-being.
So tree Hugging is not only for Hippies to the contrary, “let’s make it a fashion trend”!! Hugging a tree can boost our health and the happiness we feel about being alive, so don’t be shy!!
In order to create a new relationship with trees, the first step is to make sure you feel worthy to be their co-creative partner. Relax your mind and body, breath deeply and allow the subtle energies – that are their natural language of all existence – to create an energetic field for connection between you.
Trust and the trees will assist you to open your energy channels and come to inner calmness. This space of presence allows you to feel the energetic exchange. Just play with it! Confidence comes with practice!!m;kllHere is a short list of trees that are especially helpful to the human race, for our collective evolution process!

The excess to new dimensions from the BIRCH TREE:
Birch trees support us in our forgiveness process and awaken the energy of new beginnings inside of us. It helps us cleans from the impact of our past. Shamans, Druids and Celtics used the Birch wood tree to enter altered states of consciousness. It reminds us to live our life with purpose and master our personal energy field.

The energies of trust and faith from the CHERRY TREE:
Cherry trees whisper to us about the chance for a new awakening. They support us to remove all obstacles that are preventing our spiritual growth. It is the burning fire of the inner Phoenix, the rising from the ashes of the past. It stands for the cycles of re-birth, the self-creation of a new life after every mental death.

Access to universal energies from the ELM TREE:
Elm trees are channels for the higher vibrations of the divine. They help us get in touch with the invisible world behind the veil of human perception. For our personal soul path, they assist us in hearing our inner voice and to have faith in our intuition. On an energetic level the family collective of the Elm trees is stronger connected to each other, than any other tree species. A brotherhood of trees!

Harmony between heaven and earth from the HONEYSUCKLE TREE:
Honeysuckle is the perfect plant partner to empower the work of healer, light-worker and energy-worker. It awakens confidence for our creations, the use of psychic energies and the magnetic attraction required for manifestation on the material plane. It reminds us of our authentic personal power, our highest potential, the awakening to psychic abilities and the courage to follow our own beliefs.

A gateway between the worlds from the WISTERIA:
Wisteria provides us with a gateway between the human species and the divine realm. It is known as “the ecstasy of the poet”, as it helps us to awaken and draw in inspiration and good vibrations for divinely channeled creative process. The Wisteria flower serves us in the manifestation of our true self, as it activates the heart chakra and the throat chakra. On our path of illumination, it provides the needed spiritual influence to reach a higher state of consciousness.shaPower for your prayers from the BEECH TREE:
There is a legend reporting that Sanskrit, the most ancient language of prayer, has first been carved on a Beech bark. Therefor the power of the written word, spiritual wisdom, knowledge of the past and a love for literature are associated with this tree. It awakens tolerance and respect for all existence and helps with the alignment to the guidance of your higher self.

Balance between the female and the male forces from the MAPLE TREE:
Maple trees help strengthen our connection between Yin & Yang, the dance of the polarities, the electrical and the magnetic powers. They ground our psychic abilities and spiritual energies. Maple trees help women illuminate their inner fire, and supports men in the awakening of their feminine nurturing nature, their intuition and creativity.

Protection during inner transitions form the ALDER TREE:
The raven, a bird of great knowledge and perception, is associated with the Alder tree. The related element is water. The Alder reminds us by divine law, that everything is constantly in movement. So even when it seams like we are not moving forward at all, we do – only a bit slow. Patients is required now!

Alignment for your chakra centers from the LILAC:
The Lilac is the best partner to use in your meditating practice as it has the potential to connect us with our spirit guides. It attracts the help of protective spirits into our work and its healing power reminds us of the divine beauty within the individuality of all things. When used for aromatherapy, Lilac awakens mental clarity and freedom.

Regeneration and rejuvenation from the OLIVE TREE:
The Olive tree increases our sensitivity, our hope, our joy for life and our deepest longing for peace and harmonious relationships. It helps us develop the courage and honor of a spiritual warrior and is therefor associated with gods and goddesses like Pallas Athena, Poseidon and Zeus. Olive trees support our physical self-healing abilities and spiritual growth.jDear Ones, I wish you nurturing, healing experiences when you are getting in touch with your higher sensory abilities and the frequencies of the tree spirits!!! Remember the strongest connections can be achieved with the joyful, relaxed and lighthearted approach of a child!!! Have fun playing with our brothers and sisters from the Nature Kingdom!
Blessings and Nature Love!!

Living A Life Of Authentic Happiness & Inner Freedom

408817_225087160907637_1869227508_nby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
many of you, who are reading my posts on a regular level are aware, that as so many people with strong abilities, I have not had an easy life from the beginning on. Coming from a family quite violent in character, I was not known as a happy, balanced or free person. In times I was battling with suicidal thoughts and with depression and felt deeply separated or isolated in my inner world. Watching other people who took life quite easy and seamed not to feel as deeply as I, I wondered what it would be like to unleash my own inner happy, free and uncensored ME.
Its not that I was a child that did not speak up or did not do wild things, indeed I brought myself into situations dangerous and overwhelming all the time, but I did not feel any authentic happiness or true personal freedom coming from it. It was more about facing fears and being confronted with the dark side of life and collective human behavior. But over the years of my spiritual path I managed to connect with forces like the Ascended Master Ling and trained myself to feel happy for waking up every morning and having another chance to live!

Here is a list of things I found helpful in the creation of true authentic inner happiness:
1. Create a simple list of things that you enjoy
Modern everyday life is so full of demands on us, that often the self-care is what falls short at the end. When you write yourself a little love letter with all the simple things that make you happy and that you want to do a bit more for yourself. If you keep the list on your fridge or nightstand, you might remember more often to sweeten your life with this simple pleasures. suryanamaskar2. Move your body
Find someway of movement that makes you happy, is easy to repeat and does not need a lot of preparation to start with. For me it is dancing Salsa on my own. I love the music and the many different speeds Salsa is available in. I let the whole house vibrate from the beats and dance the basic steps thru the kitchen, living room and garden, while I am fulfilling my household tasks ;-). Or maybe you like the stretching and relaxation that you feel during a yoga practice? A quick walk in the park with deep connected breathing and conscious steps? What ever you choose, make sure to consciously store the happiness and freedom it makes you feel, so you can take it back home and sway in it.

3. Eat fresh and organic food
Our body is the vessel for our soul to come thru and express our soul into the world. If our nutrition is based on junk food and precooked foods with tons of chemicals and we don’t care to eat GMO food, we simply don’t give the body what it takes to bring forward the true spiritual being that we are. So go simple, go organic, go fresh!!! And – give your children healthy foods too!! It has to be organic not just natural, there is a labeling trick build in to the term natural!! That way your physical body can hold the light of your soul more easily, and this light is the storage for divine bliss!!

4. Practice the virtue of patience
On a spiritual level, patience represents the ability of sitting in circumstances of emotional and energetic, physical or spiritual discomfort, without complaining to the universe about it. Which means when in stress, not also freaking out about it!! Don’t rush through the day!! One of the quickest killer of happiness is rushing and losing the ability to see the many little beautiful blessings offered to us on the way!!sa5. Spend at least 15 minutes the day in the sun
Well-documented research shows there is a relationship between low vitamin D levels and poor health, such as frail bones, multiple sclerosis and prostate cancer. Our physical body needs vitamin D! And it is the sun that provides this Vitamin in the most natural form. Also, light that is hitting your skin and your eyes, helps reverse seasonal effective disorders – so think about finding a way to enjoy sunlight, especially now when the days are getting shorter and colder. Let the sunshine in, so you can shine your light back at it!!

Dear Friends, I hope my words serve you as motivation and encouragement on your personal path to authentic happiness and inner freedom!! May you create the most beautiful relationship with your inner child and allow it to lead you to the freedom of the innocent heart!!  So much can be achieved in this world, by the joyful, relaxed and lighthearted approach of the playful responsible child!!!
Blessings and True Authentic Happiness!!

What I learned from not drinking for two years

AaDear Friends,
I really love the new authentic expression movement that seams to spread within the masculine population right now. After the first spiritual warrior stood up and spoke out about their feelings of failure and true desire in love relationships; and others shared how restraining from watching porn allowed them to create brand new feelings and deeper relationships with women; now we have the first brave man telling us about his journey thru society, without the consume of alcohol. I love the authors honest and clear voice, and the simplicity in which he is sharing his life with us. I hope you enjoy the read just as much as I did!! Have an amazing day!!
Love and Blessings!! Edith

by: Andy Boyle
Two years ago today I last got shithoused. It was the closing night of the Lincoln Lodge, a fantastic comedy venue in Chicago in the back of a now-closed diner. They’ve since moved, but after that show, I thought I should take a breather from drinking — and eating meat — and focus on productivity.
Here’s a short list of what I’ve accomplished since I stopped drinking two years ago:
~) Lost 75 pounds
~) Bought a bad-ass loft condo
~) Finished a first draft of an advice book
~) Started exercising three days a week, then four
~) Went from a size XXL to size Large
~) Performed in three comedy festivals
~) Got a badass new job at Breaking News
~) Finished multiple drafts of multiple television and movie scripts
~) Went from 42-inch waist to 36-inch
~) Went from hating myself daily to relatively enjoying myselfaA lot of this is what I externally accomplished, what I can show on paper. But I think that last one is the most important. I’ve learned a lot in two years, so I thought I’d share that with you, in case you’d like to take a break from the booze cruise. Also, that’s what I tell myself: I’ve taken a break. Maybe I’ll drink again. Maybe I won’t. But overall, life seems to be a shitload better for me because I took a break. Perhaps it could be for you, too.

Things I’ve Learned in this two years:
1. You don’t have to drink to have fun!!
What a shocker! As someone who’s been drinking since his senior year of high school (sorry mom, we weren’t just “hanging out” in the basement), most events in my life revolved around booze. Almost everything does: Comedy shows, concerts, after-work functions, meetups, dates, conferences, dinner, museum tours. But guess what? The events don’t change if you decide not to drink! You’re still you. Maybe you’re a little less “inhibited,” but is that altogether terrible? I’ve found that when I hang out with folks who have been drinking, I start to feel the same way I was — in terms of becoming silly, goofy, fun — when I was around people while drinking. And I remember everything that happened during the events, too, which is always nice.

2. You have way less regrets
Since I stopped drinking, I’ve yet to wake up and look at my phone, see something I texted, and go, “Ugh, wwwwwwhhhhhy.” I’m in control of my actions basically all of the time. I think a lot more before I respond to something someone says. If I’m angry, it gives me time to calm down instead of just reacting like a shithead. Drinking definitely helped my inner asshole come out a lot more often. Now I am better at keeping the jerkier side of me locked up. It still comes out, sure, but at least I have more control over when that happens.a13. People will judge the shit out of you
This one was the weirdest one to deal with. Many, many folks will give you shit for not drinking. Here are some actual things I’ve been told: “C’mon, dude, just have one beer! It’s not like you’re going to meetings or whatever!”, “I can’t trust someone who doesn’t drink.”, “You’re not fun unless you’re drunk.”,  “When you don’t drink, it makes me feel bad about myself, which makes me not like you.”, “I can’t date someone who doesn’t want to get drunk with me, sorry.”,
I’ve bet I said some of these things back when I used to drink. Because when you’re around someone who doesn’t do something you like doing, you can be taken aback by it. I’ve had friends who’ve stopped hanging out with me because I don’t drink anymore. I’ve had relationships end (or not even start) because of it. I have been sent screenshots of people I know talking smack about me to other people because I choose to not do a thing. It’s weird. But it makes you realize the bad relationship with booze other folks must be having. And for that, I have empathy. And I hope they figure it out.

4. You sleep so much better
I haven’t slept this great since before high school. Holy shit it’s fantastic. I could link you to all the studies that show how alcohol effects your sleep, but hey, take my word for it.

5. You get less sad
I don’t know if I have depression, but I used to get bummed out a lot. Days where I wouldn’t want to leave my apartment, or see anyone, mostly because I hated myself. I don’t hate myself nearly as much as I used to. I’m generally okay with my life and who I am. Positivity is my go-to emotion, even when something bad or terrible happens to me. It’s like I flipped this switch inside my brain: Instead of going to shittiness, I try to find the reason something is positive. It’s definitely weird to have this happen to me.j6. You develop more empathy for others
A few weeks ago, this guy blared on his horn because I was crossing at a crosswalk and he wanted to turn, and he almost hit me with his car, then he flipped me off and told me to go fuck myself and die. Old me probably would’ve stood in front of him, not moved, taken a photo or video of him, shared it on the internet, explained, “Hey look at this asshole who tried to hit me with his car!” and felt smug and wonderful about it. Instead, after an initial moment of fear and anger, I realized this dude is probably having an awful day. Maybe he’s late for an appointment. Maybe he’s trying to get to the hospital to see his sick son who has cancer. Maybe he didn’t have as loving of parents as I did, and that’s filled him with resentment his entire life. Either way, that guy has something going on, and I wanted him to be happier. Then I felt weird, because my brain has been wired forever to be a little shit to anyone who wrongs me. But now? I generally jump to empathy. I like that it does that now.

7. You save so much money
I bought a condo. I’d like to pretend as though it wasn’t because of how much money I saved not drinking and buying food while drunk, but probably 1/4th of my down payment came from just abstaining from booze. Yeah. I know.

8. You get tired earlier
It’s pretty hard for me to stay up past 11 p.m. most nights, even on the weekends. When I was drinking, booze was a magical fuel that kept me going, trying to find a new adventure. Now that I don’t drink, I’m not constantly searching for adventure, trying to find one more fun thing that will fill the empty void inside of me. I’m content with what I’ve done for the day, and my body wants to go to bed. I dig that. a9. You become amazingly productive
When you’re not spending most of your free time at bars, you get a lot of shit done. I read more. I write more. I learn more. I spend more time working on bettering myself and my skills than I ever would have sitting at a bar, chatting with a buddy or two. I’m much less social than I was previously, but I’m also creating more art and failing a lot more than ever before. In the end, I know I’m going to die. I’d rather there be a few things of me still hanging around a few years after I’m dead, some sort of expression of myself that others can enjoy. That requires me to put in the time to work on projects, make something tangible and real for others to enjoy. That seems, now, like a better use of my time than chatting with some pals at a bar. That conversation may have been great, sure, but in the end, it dies with me and those people. If I can create a few things that last longer than me, it makes my life last longer. It means I mattered a little more.
I’m glad I haven’t drank for two years. Sure, I’ve done a few shots of Malort with people who’ve never tried it. And that one time a dude threatened to kick my ass if I didn’t drink that shot of whiskey he bought me to congratulate me on “being so funny” after hearing me tell jokes about how I don’t drink anymore. If you ever think, hey, this drinking thing isn’t fun anymore, it’s okay to take a break. I just quit. For me, it’s been relatively easy, and I know it isn’t easy for everyone. But just know I’ve found countless rad people who can have fun without booze. And you can, too. Good luck!!

The Alchemy of Conscious Breathing – The Golden Path of Ascension

breby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
do you remember my post about awakening the Inner Alchemist? In this article I talked about the Ascended Master Saint Germain and the violet flame of transformation, he is providing as his divine quality. This flame is the representation of the sacred inner fire of Alchemy (our capability to change and transform our momentary state of being – into a higher vibrating version of our TRUE SELF), and this fire needs your passionate breathing to stay alive and hungry. To be more specific: the intensity in which the fire of transformation inside you is burning – depends on your conscious understanding and conscious use of your breath. And, the more profound your understanding of the Magic and Alchemy your own breath is providing, the more alive, blissful and inter-connected it makes you feel – to simply breath in and out LIFE ITSELF.

So allow me to explain a bit more about the Alchemy of Breathing. When we decide to go thru the materialization process of becoming human beings, we are in our natural state of pure light and divine bliss. IMG_0133In general there is not “one correct way” of breathing.

#1: to practice in a private environment

  • Sit cross-legged in a dark, quiet room.
  • Repeat 10 to 15 times.

#2: to practice in public spaces

  • Close your eyes if you can.

For even deeper relaxation, try focusing on an affirmation during your inhales and exhales. Think the words “I” on your inhale and “AM” , can, do, feel, (what ever works for your situation – be creative!!) …. on your exhale….. Keep doing that for 3-5minutes and deeper layer can open from inside.BreathI hope this steps help to make you feel safe and confident while going thru the intense waves of our collective changes these days!! Remember to be kind and practice self-compassion, what ever is going on!! And allow your breath to guide you to a beautiful “deeper connection” with your true “higher self”! Above as below..  Keep breathing and have a little faith in yourself!!!  Blessings an Love!

Three Causes of Spiritual Illness

8467e319fdc9ccd9cfa2b1ae5e3afea1Dear Friends,
we have been undergoing so many intense changes in the last weeks, we still need some time to integrate the complexity of it all. This is a beautiful article about the power of our manifestation abilities – this time about physical illness in the human body. It explains clear and loud how we are the creator of our own illnesses. At the moment this 3 basic causes are creating a lot of suffering, pain, medical needs and misunderstanding in this world. I hope you feel encouraged to be brave and inspired to take care of yourself. Remove yourself from workplaces, friendships and relationships that cause you the creation of illness. Set yourself free for negative impacts and your life will thrive!!!! I hope this will inspire you to act on your self-love!
Love and Blessings
Edith

Three Causes of Spiritual Illness

As we pass through life on the physical plane, things happen. We contract flues and colds and viruses, and we sustain physical injuries, like falling off our bikes as children or experiencing sports injuries. As adults, we may throw our back out or experience a serious car accident, in the process, acquiring bruises, cuts, sprains, infections, lacerations, and sometimes broken bones.
Some of us may also experience serious illnesses of an internal nature like cancer or hepatitis, heart disease or multiple sclerosis. Eventually we pass through old age and the progressive infirmity and death of the physical body. These are the givens–they are all to be expected as part of what it means to be an embodied, living being. But these are all effects, and what the shaman is primarily interested in is the cause.

Cause and Effect

In looking through the shamanic healer’s eyes, the ultimate causes of virtually all illness are to be found within the imaginal realms–in those same regions from which illness derives its initial power to affect us adversely. Because of this, it is not enough to simply suppress the effects of illness with medication on the physical plane and hope for the best. For true healing to occur, the causes of the illness must be addressed.
From the shaman’s perspective, there are three classic causes of illness, and interestingly, they are not microbes or bacteria or viruses. Rather, they are negative internal states that appear within us in response to negative or traumatic life experiences. The first among these is disharmony.

feeling-emotionDisharmony

Disharmony is what we experience when life suddenly loses its meaning or when we have lost an important connection to life. Let’s take the case of an elderly couple who have had a long marriage, and suddenly one of them dies. They may not have had a perfect relationship, yet there is a deep bond between them because of all they have shared together. The survivor may go into crisis upon the loss of their mate, and within a short time, he or she may come down with something medically challenging, like cancer. Suddenly, they’re gone too.
That’s disharmony.  The state of disharmony that we experience in response to such life situations causes a diminishing e of our personal power. This can happen in a subtle manner on the one hand, or in a catastrophic, life-shaking way on the other like losing your job, and in the process losing your livelihood. When we experience dis-empowerment, or “power loss,” it affects our energetic matrix, rendering us vulnerable to illness.

Fear

The second classic cause of illness is fear. A person who is walking around with a chronic sense of fear gnawing away at them is doubly vulnerable to illness because their anxiety aggressively and progressively diminishes their sense of well-being, and this, in turn, affects their feeling of being safe in the world.
This sense of well-being is the base upon which our personal health system stands. When this foundation is affected negatively, it diminishes the ability of our immune system to function. And when our immune system goes down, we’re in trouble.
It’s not too difficult to see that there is a feedback mechanism at work here. Fear, and the anxiety it creates, produces disharmony. In the same breath, disharmony generates fear, and if the two of them are working together, it doubly affects the protective mantle of the body’s immune system, as well as the energetic matrix. Illness is the inevitable result.
It is no surprise to Western medical practitioners that disharmony and fear can manifest themselves in diseases that are recognizable to science. Almost 500 years ago, the Renaissance physician Paracelsus observed that “the fear of disease is more dangerous than the disease itself.”
This brings us to consider the third classic cause of illness–the phenomenon known to indigenous healers as soul loss.i-am-by-amy-elyse-stringer-london

Soul Loss

Among the traditional, soul loss is regarded as the most serious diagnosis and the major cause of premature death and serious illness, yet curiously, it’s not even mentioned in our Western medical textbooks. The closest acknowledged context is “He/she has lost the will to live”.
In Western society, soul loss is most easily understood as damage to a person’s life essence, a phenomenon that usually occurs in response to trauma. When the trauma are severe, this may result in a fragmentation of that person’s soul cluster, with the shattered soul parts dissociating, fleeing an intolerable situation. In overwhelming circumstances, these soul parts may not return.
The causes of soul loss can be many and varied. There may be traumatic perinatal issues that happen around the child’s birth experience such as arriving into life only to discover that they are not wanted, or that they are the wrong gender—they’ve come in as a girl when everyone was hoping for a boy.
Soul loss can also occur when a child is mercilessly bullied or teased at home or at school, day after day, or when a young person is molested by the one who is supposed to be caring for them. When someone has been raped or assaulted, has suffered a shocking betrayal, a bitter divorce, a traumatic abortion, a terrible car accident, or even a serious surgery, soul loss is assured.
Many of the young men and women who were sent to war in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Vietnam, Korea and beyond, came home personally damaged because they had suffered terrible soul loss. Our medical specialists labeled their disorders as post-traumatic stress syndrome, but they had little to offer these “walking wounded” in terms of true healing, and many who survived are still deeply traumatized at the soul level by what happened to them in war.

Symptoms of Soul Loss

Soul loss is easily recognizable if you know what you’re looking for. Here’s a checklist of some of the classic symptoms:

  • feelings of being fragmented, of not being all here.
  • blocked memory–an inability to remember parts of one’s life.
  • an inability to feel love or receive love from another.
  • emotional remoteness.
  • a sudden onset of apathy or listlessness.
  • a lack of initiative or enthusiasm.
  • a lack of joy.
  • a failure to thrive.
  • an inability to make decisions.
  • an inability to discriminate.
  • chronic negativity.
  • addictions.
  • suicidal tendencies.
  • melancholy or despair.
  • chronic depression.

Perhaps the most common symptom of soul loss is depression. In the early 1990s, Time magazine did a cover story on depression in America that revealed 60 million Americans were taking anti-depressant drugs on a daily basis, representing about 30% of our population.
Today that number is closer to 80 million, representing about 40% of society at large, and sometimes that number jumps in response to a national trauma. On the Friday following 9/11, a television newscast revealed that 7 out of 10 Americans polled were experiencing significant depression in response to the tragedy, an indicator of soul loss on a national scale.
Although the term “soul loss” is not familiar to most Westerners, examples of it are expressed daily in our language and descriptions of personal hardships. Media interviews and news reports include individuals’ comments such as “I lost a part of myself when that (trauma) happened” and “I have not been the same since.” When discussing soul loss with inquiring individuals, most everyone has a sense of having lost a “part” of themselves at some time in life, yet virtually no one has the awareness that the missing part(s) could be recovered. They can.

New Relationships Are Emerging – In Friendship With A Tree!!

jby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
last week I talked about the amazing ability human beings have to connect and be in relationship with other dimensional realms. One of this realms is the Kingdom of Nature, the weeds, flowers, bushes and trees surrounding us. The conscious interaction between the Nature Kingdom and the human race, is as old as human life itself! Our pagan ancestors worshiped trees. In many traditions in Europe, trees are admired for their magical, healing and grounding powers.

It is known, that Plato and Aristotle received their deepest insights in the olive groves around Athens. Buddha found enlightenment beneath a bo tree, and Isaac Newton realized his “gravity theory” while watching an apple fall from the tree, under which he was sitting.
Confidence comes with practice!!mHere is a short list of trees that are especially important for the human race, at this very important point of our collective evolution!

On our path of illumination, it provides the needed spiritual influence to reach a higher state of consciousness.bodhitreegalleryPower for your prayers from the BEECH TREE:

Olive trees support our physical self-healing abilities and spiritual growth.

I wish you nurturing, healing experiences when you are getting in touch with your higher sensory abilities and the frequencies of the tree spirits!!! Note: The strongest connection can be achieved with the joyful, relaxed and lighthearted approach of a child!!!
Have fun playing with our brothers and sisters from the Nature realm!
Blessings and Oneness-feelings!!

How The Brain Changes When You Meditate

amDear Friends,
for meditation practitioner and spiritual seeker it is clear since a long time, that a regular practice of mindful thinking and controlled breathing, leads to a change in how we experience our world. Now also science stepped up to proof that a daily discipline, when often enough repeated, has the power to change the frequency of our brain waves. Read here what the University of Wisconsin-Madison found out so far!

Wish you healing meditations and deep insights!
Blessings Edith

Mindfulness induces Measurable Changes in the Brain

Not too long ago, most of us thought that the brain we’re born with is static — that after a certain age, the neural circuitry cards we’re dealt are the only ones we can play long-term.
Fast-forward a decade or two, and we’re beginning to see the opposite: the brain is designed to adapt constantly. World-renowned neuroscientist Richie Davidson at the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with his colleagues, want us to know three things:

  1. you can train your brain to change,
  2. that the change is measurable, and
  3. new ways of thinking can change it for the better.

It’s hard to comprehend how this is possible. Practicing mindfulness is nothing like taking a pill, or another fix that acts quickly, entering our blood stream, crossing the Blood Brain Barrier if needed in order to produce an immediate sensation, or to dull one.
But just as we learn to play the piano through practice, the same goes for cultivating well-being and happiness. Davidson told Mindful last August that the brain keeps changing over its entire lifespan. And he thinks that’s very good news:

We can intentionally shape the direction of plasticity changes in our brain. By focusing on wholesome thoughts, for example, and directing our intentions in those ways, we can potentially influence the plasticity of our brains and shape them in ways that can be beneficial. That leads us to the inevitable conclusion that qualities like warmheartedness and well-being should best be regarded as skills.

Davidson adds that research on neuro-plasticity gives neuroscientists a framework for tracking meditation research. And CIHM is beginning to see that “even short amounts of practice,” like 30 minutes of meditation per day, “can induce measurable changes in the brain” that can be tracked on a brain scanner.Awaken-your-master-powers-of-the-soul30 minutes of meditation per day can induce measurable changes in the brain

Based on recent research, I’ve chosen to share four ways your brain may change when you practice mindfulness:

  • Anterior Cingulate Cortex: Increased grey matter changes were noted in the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), which is a structure located behind the brain’s frontal lobe. It has been associated with such functions as self-regulatory processes, including the ability to monitor attention conflicts, and allow for more cognitive flexibility.
  • Prefrontal Cortex: Increased grey matter density was also found in areas of the prefrontal lobe, which are primarily responsible for executive functioning such as planning, problem solving, and emotion regulation.
  • Hippocampus: Increased cortical thickness in the hippocampus has also been noted. The hippocampus is the part of the limbic system that governs learning and memory, and is extraordinarily susceptible to stress and stress-related disorders like depression or PTSD.

Decreased Amygdala Size

Studies have shown that the amygdala, known as our brain’s “fight or flight” center and the seat of our fearful and anxious emotions, decreases in brain cell volume after mindfulness practice.

Diminished or enhanced functionality in certain networks/connections

Not only does the amygdala shrink post mindfulness practice, but the functional connections between the amygdala and the pre-frontal cortex are weakened. This allows for less reactivity, and also paves the way for connections between areas associated with higher order brain functions to be strengthened (i.e. attention, concentration, etc.).

MeditatorThe brain changes when you meditate

Reduced activity in the Brain’s “Me” Center

Mindfulness practice has been implicated in the decreased activation and the stilling of our Default Mode Network (DMN), which is also sometimes referred to as our wandering “Monkey Minds.” The DMN is active when our minds are directionless as it goes from thought to thought, a response that is sometimes likened to rumination and not always adaptive with regards to overall happiness.
The impact that mindfulness exerts on our brain is borne from routine: a slow, steady, and consistent reckoning of our realities, and the ability to take a step back, become more aware, more accepting, less judgmental, and less reactive. Just as playing the piano over and over again over time strengthens and supports brain networks involved with playing music, mindfulness over time can make the brain, and thus, us, more efficient regulators, with a penchant for pausing to respond to our worlds instead of mindlessly reacting.

BY
How do you exactly deal with a highly sensitive person? When you say highly sensitive person, it means you have to handle them with care. They are fragile people that can break at the slightest raise of your voice. If you are in a relationship with a very sensitive person or you have a friend who has this trait, then you should quickly find the best ways on how you can deal with them to avoid causing any troubles. Here are some tips on how you can deal with a very sensitive person.

Highly Sensitive People Avoid Overly Aggressive People

An overly aggressive person can be described as someone who makes it a habit to raise his or her voice even if it is not really necessary. Aggressive people are also very harsh even to their friends. They are blunt and straight to the point even if it has the potential to hurt other people’s feelings. If you are an overly aggressive person, then you should learn to tone down and change some of your ways when you are dealing with very sensitive people.

Highly Sensitive People Do Not Like Highly Critical Comments

Sensitive people hate critics and their negative comments. If you like giving comments that are not very uplifting, then it is better if you just keep it to yourself. This kind of people will not take negative comments lightly. Too much criticism will not help and the overly sensitive person will eventually avoid you.

images (4)Highly Sensitive People Likes Romantic People

If you have a girlfriend or boyfriend who is overly sensitive, it probably is a good idea to be more romantic to him or her. A person who is very sensitive is always very emotional when it comes to relationships. By bringing her flowers or just texting him sweet messages, you are ensuring that your relationship will be stronger and full of love.

Highly Sensitive People Takes Longer to Decide

You have to be more understanding when dealing with an overly sensitive person. They are more aware of the details, which make it longer and harder for them to come up with a decision. They tend to take a long time to decide because they always weigh the outcome of their decisions. However, when they have to make the same decision again, it would be quicker the next time around. So if ever you are getting impatient when waiting for their decision, remember that they just want to make the right choice.

Highly Sensitive People are Very Detail Oriented

Since they are very detail oriented, it means that they notice everything around them. If you are wearing new shoes, they will be the first ones to notice it.

images (5)Highly Sensitive People are More Prone to Depression

Since they are very emotional, they easily get depressed. Being supportive and giving them protection can be very helpful. If you have kids who are highly sensitive, you should treat them the right way so they will be more confident to face everyday challenges in their lives.

Now that you know some traits and behavior of overly sensitive people, you can deal with them without unknowingly hurting their feelings or offending them. Highly sensitive people need a lot of understanding and they share many positive traits that everyone should know.
If you are not sure if you or your beloved one are highly sensitive people, read this article to evaluate your situation. I hope it helps! https://edithboyertelmer.com/2015/07/22/are-you-a-highly-sensitive-person-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-science-of-this-personality-type/
