Being Prepared For The New Moon In Cancer With Total Solar Eclipse

by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
on July 2nd or 3rd, we are collectively experiencing the influence of a New Moon in 10 degree and 38 minutes of the sensitive zodiac sign of the Cancer. This stellar event is particularly powerful as coupled with a total solar eclipse and therefor amplified in impact. The Cancer / Capricorn axis is highly vivid this year, so if we are wise we take every chance for a conscious shift in awareness.

Collectively we will feel invited to examen the themes of self-love, self-care and self-respect on even deeper levels and to make adjustments in this areas, if we find ourselves responsible of neglect. After all, keeping healthy boundaries allows us to truly enjoy the time we share with others.

Our self-respect tracks our choices. Every time we act in harmony with our authentic self and our heart, we earn our respect. It is that simple. Every choice matters.
Dan Coppersmith

Most of the shadows of this life are caused by standing in one’s own sunshine.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Self-care is never a selfish act—it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others.
Parker Palmer

Very vivid sensible is the theme of family during the influence of this Cancer New Moon. The question might arise what family truly means to you. If the love we share with the people most present in our life is all there is to give, or maybe humanity in itself can become the tribe we seek. Such profound questions will be front and center of our collective emotional challenges these days.

Modern capitalism needs men who cooperate smoothly and in large numbers; who want to consume more and more; and whose tastes are standardized and can be easily influenced and anticipated. What is the outcome? Modern man is alienated from himself, from his fellow man and from nature.
Erich From

You must know that only he who fights the darkness within will the day after tomorrow have his own share in the sun.
Odysseus Elytis

We have flown the air like birds and swum the sea like fishes, but have yet to learn the simple act of walking the earth like brothers.
Martin Luther King Jr.

I want to live in a society filled with people who are curious and concerned about each other rather than afraid of each other. I want to live in a world full of brave people who are willing to risk not only adventure but emotional intimacy. I want to live in a world full of explorers and generous souls rather than people who have voluntarily become prisoners of their own fortresses. I want to live in a world full of people who look into each other’s faces along the path of life and ask, Who are you, my friend, and how can we serve each other?
Elizabeth M. Gilbert

Another aspect of this strong New Moon in Cancer many of us might feel the need to take a deeper look at the way our nutrition is structured. You might have forgotten along the way, to adapt some habits that do no longer serve your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual strength. Realizing that a holistic nutrition is much more than just food, you might also enjoy consciously working with the stellar realms these days. If so you can use the prayer below!

IN THIS BEAUTIFUL, THIS AMAZING MAGICAL MOMENT
I CELEBRATE MY ONENESS WITH THE EARTH AND THE SUN
BRINGING MY FULL AWARENESS INTO THIS MOMENT
I CONSCIOUSLY HONOR MY PHYSICAL BEING AS A COSMIC PORTAL,
A CHANNEL OF DIVINE CONSCIOUSNESS IN FLOW
A STAR GATE IN TIME AND SPACE

EVERY BREATH CRYSTALLIZES MY EXISTENCE AS A
CO-ORDINATE IN THE DIVINE IMMORTAL CONTINUUM,
CLEANSING MY EMOTIONAL BODY
MY MENTAL BODY BREAKS FREE OF ITS MORTAL CONFINES
AS I REMEMBER MY QUANTUM GALACTIC IDENTITY,
AWAKENING MY FEARLESS SELF

THROUGH MY CONSCIOUS COMMUNION
WITH THE ALCHEMICAL ELEMENT OF CREATION
MY SPIRITUAL IDENTITY MERGES IN PERFECT UNION
WITH ALL OTHER ASPECTS OF MYSELFDear Ones, may you all find balance between the gentleness of your heart and the clarity of the outside world under the influence of this wonderful Cancer New Moon and total solar eclipse. I wish you all the best for a strong start into the new.
Love and New Moon Blessings!

Collectively Moving On From Sexualization And Abuse

by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
the other day I had a very interesting exchange with a friend, talking about a sentence I heard while watching a random television show. The protagonist in that reality TV show answered, when she was asked about her past as model for the Playboy Magazine, the following: “We are women! We have tits and a pussy, men are always going to sexualize us! That’s something we can’t get past!!” Honestly, the fact that she would express her observations as such radical truth truly shocked me.
But the current reality is, that f
or women in western society it has become a state of “daily normality” to be harassed, depressed or insulted on a sexual level. Currently we can see how on all levels of life, our youth is deeply effected by the porn-culture they are growing up in, and the resisting lack of authenticity as well as clarity in sexual relationships.

This is from the Article “Growing up in Pornland” by I meet girls who describe being groped in the school yard, girls routinely sexually harassed at school or on the school bus on the way home. They tell me boys act like they are entitled to girls’ bodies. Defenders of porn often say that it provides sex education. And it does: it teaches even very young boys that women and girls are always up for it. “No” in fact means yes, or persuade me.

The proliferation and globalization of hypersexualized imagery and pornographic themes makes healthy sexual exploration almost impossible. Sexual conquest and domination are untampered by the bounds of respect, intimacy and authentic human connection. Young people are not learning about intimacy, friendship and love, but about cruelty and humiliation.

So what is it we can do? One think we all can enforce together is to support women in growing into strong mothers. A masculine child does not only need the love of his mother, but also the firm hand that tells the son about boundaries and personal time for “mommy recovery”. To make it clear from the beginning on, that “mother” is apart from the provider for survival, also is a normal human being with personal needs.
Knowing that as a child, makes it easier for the adult man to accept a partners boundaries and personal desires too.

Talking to our son’s about the fact that every woman indeed has a personal way and need, how to express her own sexuality, and letting them know that it takes time to listen if one wants to discover a woman’s sexuality, also helps a lot to keep their minds open in the face of a collective over-sexualization.

And another thing we also can do now when we are women in this world, is open our mouth and share our stories. The time for silent suffering is over, the time of united healing has begun! Letting others know they are not alone and how we went through the same things they also have experienced, sets the healing even stronger into motion and shortens the time it collectively takes. This is a particularly beautiful poem which is expressing the profound pain passed on over the generations, and which has touched me deeply recently.

The poem came from the facebook page Source Medicine:
You no longer have to hold in your shame
Ancestral woman you can dance now
You no longer have to hide and stay still
Ancestral woman you can laugh now

Your laughter heals the tears of your daughters
Ancestral woman you can cry now
Cry and howl at the stars until your wounds blossom into flowers
Ancestral woman you can learn now

It’s not your fault as you let go of guilt, blame and shame
Ancestral woman you are of the Earth
You can work with herbs without persecution and death

Ancestral woman I am sorry you were a child bride
Ancestral woman I am sorry your children died
Ancestral woman I am sorry you were a slave
Ancestral woman I am sorry you were sold
Ancestral woman I am sorry you masked your pain

Ancestral woman torn by rape, war and homicide
Ancestral woman you are the woman of today
Ancestral woman and woman of today we are here to listen and learn

As we cleanse our bloodlines of persecution, fear and pain
No longer the womb of grief and devastation
Birthing and weaving the new Earth
in the womb of pleasure and creation

While this wonderful quote expressed where we wanna go on collective level:
I want to live in a society filled with people who are curious and concerned about each other rather than afraid of each other. I want to live in a world full of brave people who are willing to risk not only adventure but emotional intimacy. I want to live in a world full of explorers and generous souls rather than people who have voluntarily become prisoners of their own fortresses. I want to live in a world full of people who look into each other’s faces along the path of life and ask, “Who are you, my friend, and how can we serve each other”?

Dear ones, we are living in a collectively intense time and that will go on for a couple of years longer, so stop holding back your authentic expression and rather go on to practice using your voice for the good of the bigger picture. We all have the responsibility to show up, if we truly want to manifest the Golden Age of Aquarius for all beings on planet earth over the coming decades.
Love and Blessings

Practicing Self-Love And Self-Care

by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
during the last month the population of the home I chose by heart – Guatemala – had to endure very painful losses, when the forces of nature spoke up intensively with eruptions of the Vulcano Fuego and earthquakes, that cost hundreds of people their lives and destroyed the dreams of many families in our country.
In situations that rock the collective emotional body so profoundly as such big impacts do, we are well of to be aware of the influence that trauma and emotional pain have on human beings. There is on one hand the big need to step in and help the ones who are in need right now, and on the other hand the mean and dark side of people shows up stronger too. What ever face you meet right now in the outside world, it is an important time for us to practice self-care and self-love, in order to stay balanced and able to be effective in our attempt to assist others.

If you aren’t good at loving yourself, you will have a difficult time loving anyone, since you’ll resent the time and energy you give another person that you aren’t even giving to yourself.
Barbara De Angelis

Your problem is you’re too busy holding onto your unworthiness.
Ram Dass

You have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.
Louise L. Hay

Self-pity gets you nowhere. One must have the adventurous daring to accept oneself as a bundle of possibilities and undertake the most interesting game in the world making the most of one’s best.
Harry Emerson Fosdick

Self-care is never a selfish act—it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others.
Parker Palmer

Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.
Lucille Ball

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.
BuddhaI think everybody’s weird. We should all celebrate our individuality and not be embarrassed or ashamed of it.
Johnny Depp

Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.
Eleanor Roosevelt

Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.
M. Scott Peck

When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.
Jean Shinoda Bolen

When I loved myself enough, I began leaving whatever wasn’t healthy. This meant people, jobs, my own beliefs and habits – anything that kept me small.  My judgement called it disloyal. Now I see it as self-loving.
Kim McMillen
