Understanding The Alchemy Of Conscious Breathing

by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
the intense energetic movement that the recent New Moon in Cancer with total solar eclipse has unleashed into the awakening process of the human collective is slowly fading and we are more and more able to take in the details for what has shifted for us all individually. The perfect time to regain clarity and direction from our soul’s guidance. Quite a while ago I shared a post called awakening the Inner Alchemist in which I talked about the Ascended Master Saint Germain and the violet flame of conscious transformation, he is providing as a divine quality. This flame is the representation of our capability to change and transform our momentary state of being – into a higher vibrating version of our TRUE SELF), and this fire needs your passionate breathing to stay alive and hungry.
To be more specific: the intensity in which the fire of transformation inside you is burning – depends on your conscious understanding and conscious use of your breath. The thump rule is, the deeper we dive into studying and understanding the magical alchemy that our breath provides, the more alive blissful and inter-connected we feel in our daily life. Simply breathing in and out LIFE ITSELF.

Allow me to explain a bit more about the Alchemy of Breathing. When we decide to go thru the materialization process of becoming human beings, we are in our natural state of pure light and divine bliss. Our divine spirit than spirals down true the different layer of density, what we call dimensions, and begin to form a physical body within the body of our future mother. In co-creation of existence on Planet Earth, this physical manifestation is build from the Elementscalled the platonic solids.  And here lays the surprise and most important secret…. while we are creating our bodies, and our mothers feel matter growing… all that we feel is the stat of divinely blissful, warm water.
So WATER is the first element we materialize on the planet! And that goes further… ever if we are born and our doctor is hitting our but… we still only feel water…. UNTIL we make the first conscious decision on planet earth – to take the first deep BREATH! In the millisecond we do so, it all comes together as one. Our Breath activates our awareness of being a spiritual being expressed in a physical manifestation – our body awareness and sensory self kick in, the EARTH element is born… and that activates the FIRE of LIFE and SURVIVAL….     the same fire you use when you breath in awareness, the violet flame of transformation and ascension, into your everyday life here and now.
That is the true and infinite power of you SIMPLE BREATHING. And it all happens under the supervision of the HOLY SPIRIT within. Remember to be kind and practice self-compassion, what ever is going on!!

platonic-solids-and-elements

Based on this bigger picture I think it is not hard to understand, that practicing conscious breathing helps improve our well being on a physical level. Which includes pain and symptom release for high blood pressure, migraines, headaches, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, depression, asthma, insomnia, nervousness, self-doubt, concentration loss, muscular tension, bad sleep, and that its a boost for the immune system. But also on a spiritual level we can boost our evolution, by connecting the dots in our mind – when we are in mindful breathing exercise.
Becoming aware of the way we breathe, helps us reconnect to our inner place of peace, in the most challenging situations of everyday life!! Such a simple, build in tool, and such a divine abundance of use for the collective awakening of humanity! So call on the Master Saint Germain and the violet flame for your next conscious step in your personal evolution! You can make it as easy as repeating the prayers below, while reading the text above over and over (make it 3, 7 or 9 or 13 repetitions)!! And try deep breathing the next time you find yourself reaching for a pain reliever, you are feeling stressed out, are depressed, have problems with your sleep or need a momentary extra boost of physical power!

The Alchemy of Conscious Breathing – The Golden Path of Ascension

breby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
do you remember my post about awakening the Inner Alchemist? In this article I talked about the Ascended Master Saint Germain and the violet flame of transformation, he is providing as his divine quality. This flame is the representation of the sacred inner fire of Alchemy (our capability to change and transform our momentary state of being – into a higher vibrating version of our TRUE SELF), and this fire needs your passionate breathing to stay alive and hungry. To be more specific: the intensity in which the fire of transformation inside you is burning – depends on your conscious understanding and conscious use of your breath. And, the more profound your understanding of the Magic and Alchemy your own breath is providing, the more alive, blissful and inter-connected it makes you feel – to simply breath in and out LIFE ITSELF.

So allow me to explain a bit more about the Alchemy of Breathing. When we decide to go thru the materialization process of becoming human beings, we are in our natural state of pure light and divine bliss. IMG_0133In general there is not “one correct way” of breathing. There are particular breathing techniques for yoga, for power walking, for swimming, a proper breathing for martial arts, a technique for taichi, playing the trumpet requires different breathing than singing does, and so on. You get my point! Anyway, here are four techniques you can give a try – in case you don’t have a favorite version jet!

#1: to practice in a private environment

  • Sit cross-legged in a dark, quiet room.
  • Close your eyes.
  • Using your thumb, cover up your right nostril, and breathe deeply through your left nostril for a count of 6.
  • Pause for a count of 2.
  • Remove your thumb, and cover your left nostril with your forefinger, and exhale completely through your right nostril for a count of 6.
  • Repeat 10 to 15 times.

#2: to practice in public spaces

  • Close your eyes if you can.
  • Inhale through your nose evenly and deeply for a count of 8.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Exhale completely through your nose for a count of 8.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Repeat 10 to 15 times.

#3: to help you fall asleep

  • Keeping your eyes closed, and lying flat on your back in bed, deeply inhale through your nose for a count of 6.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Slowly exhale completely through your nose for a count of 6.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Deeply inhale through your nose for a count of 8.
  • Pause for a count of 3.
  • Exhale completely through your nose for a count of 8.
  • Repeat steps, each time increasing the count by two until you stretch your breath out for as many counts as you can—try to get to 12! Once you’ve done this, repeat 10 times.

#4: for deep relaxation

For even deeper relaxation, try focusing on an affirmation during your inhales and exhales. Think the words “I” on your inhale and “AM” , can, do, feel, (what ever works for your situation – be creative!!) …. on your exhale….. Keep doing that for 3-5minutes and deeper layer can open from inside.BreathI hope this steps help to make you feel safe and confident while going thru the intense waves of our collective changes these days!! Remember to be kind and practice self-compassion, what ever is going on!! And allow your breath to guide you to a beautiful “deeper connection” with your true “higher self”! Above as below..  Keep breathing and have a little faith in yourself!!!  Blessings an Love!

Three Causes of Spiritual Illness

8467e319fdc9ccd9cfa2b1ae5e3afea1Dear Friends,
we have been undergoing so many intense changes in the last weeks, we still need some time to integrate the complexity of it all. This is a beautiful article about the power of our manifestation abilities – this time about physical illness in the human body. It explains clear and loud how we are the creator of our own illnesses. At the moment this 3 basic causes are creating a lot of suffering, pain, medical needs and misunderstanding in this world. I hope you feel encouraged to be brave and inspired to take care of yourself. Remove yourself from workplaces, friendships and relationships that cause you the creation of illness. Set yourself free for negative impacts and your life will thrive!!!! I hope this will inspire you to act on your self-love!
Love and Blessings

Three Causes of Spiritual Illness

As we pass through life on the physical plane, things happen. We contract flues and colds and viruses, and we sustain physical injuries, like falling off our bikes as children or experiencing sports injuries. As adults, we may throw our back out or experience a serious car accident, in the process, acquiring bruises, cuts, sprains, infections, lacerations, and sometimes broken bones.
Some of us may also experience serious illnesses of an internal nature like cancer or hepatitis, heart disease or multiple sclerosis. Eventually we pass through old age and the progressive infirmity and death of the physical body. These are the givens–they are all to be expected as part of what it means to be an embodied, living being. But these are all effects, and what the shaman is primarily interested in is the cause.

Cause and Effect

In looking through the shamanic healer’s eyes, the ultimate causes of virtually all illness are to be found within the imaginal realms–in those same regions from which illness derives its initial power to affect us adversely. Because of this, it is not enough to simply suppress the effects of illness with medication on the physical plane and hope for the best. For true healing to occur, the causes of the illness must be addressed.
From the shaman’s perspective, there are three classic causes of illness, and interestingly, they are not microbes or bacteria or viruses. Rather, they are negative internal states that appear within us in response to negative or traumatic life experiences. The first among these is disharmony.

feeling-emotionDisharmony

Disharmony is what we experience when life suddenly loses its meaning or when we have lost an important connection to life. Let’s take the case of an elderly couple who have had a long marriage, and suddenly one of them dies. They may not have had a perfect relationship, yet there is a deep bond between them because of all they have shared together. The survivor may go into crisis upon the loss of their mate, and within a short time, he or she may come down with something medically challenging, like cancer. Suddenly, they’re gone too.
That’s disharmony.  The state of disharmony that we experience in response to such life situations causes a diminishing e of our personal power. This can happen in a subtle manner on the one hand, or in a catastrophic, life-shaking way on the other like losing your job, and in the process losing your livelihood. When we experience dis-empowerment, or “power loss,” it affects our energetic matrix, rendering us vulnerable to illness.

Fear

The second classic cause of illness is fear. A person who is walking around with a chronic sense of fear gnawing away at them is doubly vulnerable to illness because their anxiety aggressively and progressively diminishes their sense of well-being, and this, in turn, affects their feeling of being safe in the world.
This sense of well-being is the base upon which our personal health system stands. When this foundation is affected negatively, it diminishes the ability of our immune system to function. And when our immune system goes down, we’re in trouble.
It’s not too difficult to see that there is a feedback mechanism at work here. Fear, and the anxiety it creates, produces disharmony. In the same breath, disharmony generates fear, and if the two of them are working together, it doubly affects the protective mantle of the body’s immune system, as well as the energetic matrix. Illness is the inevitable result.
It is no surprise to Western medical practitioners that disharmony and fear can manifest themselves in diseases that are recognizable to science. Almost 500 years ago, the Renaissance physician Paracelsus observed that “the fear of disease is more dangerous than the disease itself.”
This brings us to consider the third classic cause of illness–the phenomenon known to indigenous healers as soul loss.i-am-by-amy-elyse-stringer-london

Soul Loss

Among the traditional, soul loss is regarded as the most serious diagnosis and the major cause of premature death and serious illness, yet curiously, it’s not even mentioned in our Western medical textbooks. The closest acknowledged context is “He/she has lost the will to live”.
In Western society, soul loss is most easily understood as damage to a person’s life essence, a phenomenon that usually occurs in response to trauma. When the trauma are severe, this may result in a fragmentation of that person’s soul cluster, with the shattered soul parts dissociating, fleeing an intolerable situation. In overwhelming circumstances, these soul parts may not return.
The causes of soul loss can be many and varied. There may be traumatic perinatal issues that happen around the child’s birth experience such as arriving into life only to discover that they are not wanted, or that they are the wrong gender—they’ve come in as a girl when everyone was hoping for a boy.
Soul loss can also occur when a child is mercilessly bullied or teased at home or at school, day after day, or when a young person is molested by the one who is supposed to be caring for them. When someone has been raped or assaulted, has suffered a shocking betrayal, a bitter divorce, a traumatic abortion, a terrible car accident, or even a serious surgery, soul loss is assured.
Many of the young men and women who were sent to war in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Vietnam, Korea and beyond, came home personally damaged because they had suffered terrible soul loss. Our medical specialists labeled their disorders as post-traumatic stress syndrome, but they had little to offer these “walking wounded” in terms of true healing, and many who survived are still deeply traumatized at the soul level by what happened to them in war.

Symptoms of Soul Loss

Soul loss is easily recognizable if you know what you’re looking for. Here’s a checklist of some of the classic symptoms:

  • feelings of being fragmented, of not being all here.
  • blocked memory–an inability to remember parts of one’s life.
  • an inability to feel love or receive love from another.
  • emotional remoteness.
  • a sudden onset of apathy or listlessness.
  • a lack of initiative or enthusiasm.
  • a lack of joy.
  • a failure to thrive.
  • an inability to make decisions.
  • an inability to discriminate.
  • chronic negativity.
  • addictions.
  • suicidal tendencies.
  • melancholy or despair.
  • chronic depression.

Perhaps the most common symptom of soul loss is depression. In the early 1990s, Time magazine did a cover story on depression in America that revealed 60 million Americans were taking anti-depressant drugs on a daily basis, representing about 30% of our population.
Today that number is closer to 80 million, representing about 40% of society at large, and sometimes that number jumps in response to a national trauma. On the Friday following 9/11, a television newscast revealed that 7 out of 10 Americans polled were experiencing significant depression in response to the tragedy, an indicator of soul loss on a national scale.
Although the term “soul loss” is not familiar to most Westerners, examples of it are expressed daily in our language and descriptions of personal hardships. Media interviews and news reports include individuals’ comments such as “I lost a part of myself when that (trauma) happened” and “I have not been the same since.” When discussing soul loss with inquiring individuals, most everyone has a sense of having lost a “part” of themselves at some time in life, yet virtually no one has the awareness that the missing part(s) could be recovered. They can.

Dirty Kids Equal Healthy Kids

Dirty Kids Equals Healthy Kids - Photo by Travis Swan/Flickr (UrbanFarmOnline.com)Emerging research points out that the backyard garden just may be the cure for what ails us.

Dear Friends,
in my beautiful, dirty and underdeveloped (thanks God!!) little town of bliss, that I call home – we often talk about the blessing it is how natural the children can grow up here. Running around in nature, having pets that live equally free, watching wild animals in the mountains, climbing trees, swimming in the lake,…. Most of the parents in town are in their thirties and forties and can remember a childhood witch much less limitation to their personal freedom and dirt level, than children experience today in the western world. I can see that it gives the children joy, blissful feelings of accomplishment and a good, strong connection with their physical body – to live that deeply entwined with natures blessings.
Here a scientific paper on how healthy it is to “get your hand dirty”
Bless your dirty hands and feet!! Edith

kiBy Karen Lanier
The feel of mud squishing between your toes … But wait, what about worms?!The constant rings of dirt under your nails … Oh, but shouldn’t you wash your hands before you eat?!
The joy of plucking a ripe strawberry out of the garden and biting into its warm sweetness … Yikes! Aren’t you going to rinse it first?!
Our industrialized world has become squeaky clean—and chronically ill. Many children today are prevented from going outside to play, whether to keep them clean or due to an inflammatory condition, such as allergies, asthma or eczema. Many of these ailments can be traced to a lack of good dirt in our own bodies. The problem, as it seems, may actually turn out to be the solution.

A Little Dirt Doesn’t Hurt

While in today’s Western culture, children with soiled feet and grass-stained knees are hurriedly rushed to the bathtub and slathered with antibacterial soap, the loss of our connection to the garden and its dirt means a loss of connection to all the good microbes that live inside it.
In the February 2015 issue of the journal Nature, researchers explain that the societal shifts in our microbial communities could be contributing to our hyper-reactive immune systems. “Drivers of these changes might include antibiotics; sanitary practices that are aimed at limiting infectious disease, but that also hinder the transmission of symbiotic microbes; and, of course, our high-sugar, high-fat modern diet,” says Moises Velasquez-Manoff, author of Epidemic of Absence: A New Way of Understanding Allergies and Autoimmune Diseases.
Worldwide studies based on children’s lifestyles are proving that early exposure to a healthy microbiome—the community of bacteria living in your body—is a key factor to a strong immune system later in life. A study in Canada found that babies delivered by cesarean were lacking certain “good” bacteria. Likewise, breast-fed infants showed an advantage in the richness and diversity of microbes living in their systems.
dirA European study gathered samples of allergens from the homes of children attending a Waldorf farm school and compared samples from more urban home environments. As expected, more dust mites, animal dander and mold show up in the homes of farm kids. A separate study in Austria found that farm children suffer from significantly fewer allergy attacks. Based on these studies, you can conclude that children’s immune systems develop tolerance to allergens when the children are raised with the allergens on a day-to-day basis.
Household cleaning can wash away those beneficial microbes that help young people’s immune systems develop. A recent study published in the Journal of Pediatrics found that homes with dishwashers had more children with allergies than homes where dishes are hand-washed. To compound that hypothesis, the homes without dishwashers were also more likely to eat farm-fresh and fermented foods. More complex laboratory research turns up evidence that Crohn’s disease, autism and anxiety are also connected to the health of our internal ecosystems.

A Microscopic View of Health

Any farmer will tell you the food they grow is only as healthy as the soil it grows in—the more biodiversity, the better. One gram of healthy soil could contain billions of microorganisms: bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes. This soil life builds structure and performs essential ecological functions below ground.
Friendly ecosystems full of anti-inflammatory microbes protect our bodies. “Our resident microbes seem to control aspects of our immune function in a way that suggests they are farming us, too,” says Velasquez-Manoff in Nature.
Microorganisms live everywhere—your gut, skin, hair, couch, dog—and can affect everything from your physical well-being to your mental and emotional states. Psychobiotics, a potential new pharmaceutical field, is finding correlations between what’s living in a person’s gut and their “gut” reaction to different stimuli. This could mean that having fun in the dirt as a kid could actually lead to a healthy mood as an adult. However, untangling exactly which bacteria affect particular conditions will keep scientists busy for many decades.

Human-Food-Project-logo-transparentThe Human Food Project’s American Gut study is taking a crowd-sourcing approach to connect the microscopic dots. Run almost entirely by volunteers, the citizen science effort has accepted thousands of donations—financial, as well as, ahem, fecal. For $99, they provide a personalized, scientific report and analysis of your very own gut bacteria and include your information in the massive database they are creating in an attempt to understand our microbial and behavioral patterns on a population scale. Co-founder Rob Knight explains in Nature,
“We have the potential not just to read out our microbiome and look at predispositions but to change it for the better.”
Just as the soil microbiome varies from field to field, the human microbiome varies from person to person. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that autoimmune diseases affect three times as many women as men; some theorize that it could it be due to the expectation that little girls stay cleaner and not be as messy as little boys. Subtle yet distinct boundaries between cultures also show up under the microscope. Compared to more primitive societies, such as the Hadza of Tanzania, industrialized Western diets and lifestyles reveal a reduction in variety and abundance of good gut bacteria.
Tony Stallins, associate professor of geography at the University of Kentucky, has been trying to translate the biology and sociology research into geographic language and draws some healthy conclusions. “People think they are going to be able to finalize this relationship between us, our environment and our bacteria, but things will always evolve,” he says. “The medical world depends on this stability, so patenting this may not be possible.”

Get Your Hands Dirty

Remy Hendrych is a health coach and nature-based mentor who lives with Crohn’s disease. She ferments her own foods and draws on traditional wisdom to guide her diet and lifestyle.
“Personally, it’s one of the few foods I think I can draw ‘conclusions’ about in my own health—that with fermented food there seems to be a strong correlation with a number of improved health markers,” Hendrych says. “I have also seen this in other people I’ve worked with who have been sick and are healing.”
Do you need to improve your own microbiome? You’ve got some options: You could swallow pills of probiotics. (Look forward to the new dirt movement, when pharmaceutical companies commodify your microbiome and sell you pills of beneficial bacteria to target your specific condition.) You could also make and eat fermented foods, such as yogurt, kefir and sauerkraut, which naturally contain many of these probiotics.

kAnother, often overlooked option, is to pay close attention to the quality of the soil that produces your food. Invite your young friends out to the garden or field with you to plant some potatoes in the rich tilth or harvest some spring onions.
Stallins muses about the cures for the ills we’ve created. “We can simulate dirty fingernails, with all the possible side effects, or we can just go out and get our fingernails dirty,” he says. The side effects of that might just be pure, childlike joy.

Hacking Into Healing: The REAL Future of Medicine

2000px-Endocrine_central_nervous_en.svgInvestigating the “Impossible”
About 40 years ago, a group of microbiologists, behavioral scientists, and medical doctors in laboratories from UCLA to Russia proposed, based on their carefully conducted, independent studies, a completely heretical idea: that the brain, immune, and hormonal systems were connected — and that emotions had a major influence on the body.
They were completely laughed at by the scientific and medical community. Some were denied tenure. They were sometimes shut out of university laboratories for their “psychological nonsense.” Nevertheless, they persisted with the idea, and with their tenacity and vision, as well as years of careful research in the laboratory, founded the field that we now know as psychoneuroimmunology, or PNI.
Fortunately for us, these scientists persisted — and paved a path that has had tremendous impact on our understanding of health and medicine. Forty years later, the fact that the nervous system, the immune system, and the endocrine system are connected is now a given, and nearly every day we are reading about exciting developments in these fields, such as the contributions of the vagus nerve in immune and brain communication, and the recent paper in Nature reporting the existence of functional lymphatic vessels in the brain — something that again, was thought to be impossible. We’ve learned about the power of our own emotional states on our immunity — and how our mental state plays a role in certain disease risks — in some cases, even helping predict how long we live.

indexHacking the Body Electric
In parallel with these advances in PNI, we are seeing a rise in bioelectromagnetic medicine — including brain stimulation. These new devices — based on the mapping of the body’s responses to magnetic and electrical stimulation — are being heralded as the “Future of Medicine” — and some show tremendous promise in helping forward better treatment of certain diseases.
Unfortunately, the devices that could mitigate diseases, can also serve to disempower us, if used improperly. The fervor for these devices doesn’t just stop at finding new solutions for cancer or Alzheimer’s disease — corporate interests are pushing the development of devices down to “fixing” our mood and even our eating patterns. Feeling sad or out of sorts, or need to obliterate that hunger craving? No problem, a brain zap can fix that. There are plenty of folks ready to sell you such devices, whether or not they actually are based on sound scientific evidence. Some people are also creating DIY brain stimulation devices for home use to treat depression and enhance attention, which is not safe.

Is the “New Medicine” really based on Ancient Medicine?
While industry focuses on devices that can be sold as the next new medicine, some scientists have been uncovering the effects of ancient medicine — mind-body-spirit practices such as yoga, meditation, tai-chi and even energy healing on psychological, neural, immune, and endocrine outcomes for patients including those with PTSD, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.
The interesting thing is that the health impact of these practices, which have been part of global cultures for thousands of years, were mapped out long ago by the sages that had discovered and shared them. The described “mechanism of action” circulated around the understanding that these are spiritual practices that have a strong influence on the subtle energy system (part of what we now call in the West the “Biofield”), and through refining ourselves spiritually, positive shifts occur in our emotional, mental and physical well-being.
indexmhSadly, because of the emphasis on materialism in science and medicine, “spirit” is still considered a dirty word and is generally taboo for research and discussion. The study of “biofield” is not so far behind in the ridicule line, despite the basic science and clinical research demonstrating effects of the biofield on health, as is now being shown with bioelectronic medicine. In fact, industry is now in a race to begin mapping out the electromagnetic readouts of the body — one aspect of the biofield — but only to develop devices that can be bought and sold for mitigating disease symptoms.

The Future of Medicine is Up to Us
However, similar to the collaborations and dedication that resulted in the new field and advances of psychoneuroimmunology, a group of scientists as well as practitioners in diverse disciplines (including physics, biophysics, microbiology, psychology, endocrinology, technology, medicine, contemplative practice and the healing arts), are joining together to collectively advance the totality of understanding on the role of the consciousness in healing, including mapping the impact of mind-body-spirit practices on the biofield and health. This group of scientists, practitioners, and educators, who are part of the Consciousness and Healing Initiative, are ready to take the bold steps needed to rigorously ask and answer the harder questions — what is the role of our own consciousness in influencing our biology? How deeply can we guide and facilitate our own healing through our emotions, behavior, social, and spiritual connections, and how can we harness these effects to promote better health for ourselves, our communities and our planet? Scientific research that examines us as the agents of change for our own healing, would help to herald a true shift in the practice of medicine.
With these new advances in science, we have a choice to shape the new paradigm in health and medicine. We can choose to watch as industry dollars utilize scientific advances to advance the next wave of Big Pharma, or we can choose to support research that will irrefutably map the impact of our consciousness on our own health, so that we can better directly heal ourselves and prevent disease before it starts. We must choose not to lose the psyche in psychoneuroimmunology, and support the research and education that will truly empower our own health and healing, to usher in the real Future of Medicine.

For true healing to occur, the causes of the illness must be addressed.
From the shaman’s perspective, there are three classic causes of illness, and interestingly, they are not microbes or bacteria or viruses. Rather, they are negative internal states that appear within us in response to negative or traumatic life experiences. The first among these is disharmony.

disharmony-blocks_featureDisharmony

Disharmony is what we experience when life suddenly loses its meaning or when we have lost an important connection to life. Let’s take the case of an elderly couple who have had a long marriage, and suddenly one of them dies. They may not have had a perfect relationship, yet there is a deep bond between them because of all they have shared together. The survivor may go into crisis upon the loss of their mate, and within a short time, he or she may come down with something medically challenging, like cancer. Suddenly, they’re gone too.

That’s disharmony.  The state of disharmony that we experience in response to such life situations causes a diminishment of our personal power. This can happen in a subtle manner on the one hand, or in a catastrophic, life-shaking way on the other like losing your job, and in the process losing your livelihood. When we experience disempowerment, or “power loss,” it affects our energetic matrix, rendering us vulnerable to illness.

This brings us to consider the third classic cause of illness–the phenomenon known to indigenous healers as soul loss.

fsdSoul Loss

Among the traditionals, soul loss is regarded as the most serious diagnosis and the major cause of premature death and serious illness, yet curiously, it’s not even mentioned in our Western medical textbooks.
Many of the young men and women who were sent to war in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Viet Nam, Korea and beyond, came home personally damaged because they had suffered terrible soul loss.

They can.

Watching Porn is Draining Your Vital Energy

Dear Friends,
Oh how interesting… I have been working with a client just a week ago and this was one of the most important themes we talked about… Sexuality, its perversion, the lack on intimacy and courage for deep, inner connection…. Hope we all will learn soon!

Big hug and blessings Edith

Coming into this world isn’t exactly a joy ride, but it is up to us to make it Fun while we are here. In this search for happiness we come across a lot of different ways to get there, through attaining altered states of consciousness and momentary escapes by using drugs and other mind altering substances or by giving into ones sexual urges and carnal desires. All of these may seem to bring some sort of peace and happiness, it is short lived though. Overuse of any of these drains us of their vital energies which are responsible to build a strong immune system and a healthy, sound working mind-body connection. Studies have shown that there is a definite similarity between deep meditative states and orgasms which can also be compared to some of the altered states produced through the use of powerful plant based ‘Entheogens‘. Being able to harness this creative energy some know as ‘Kundalini‘ enables us to be in better control and deepens our understanding of the self in relation to the external world.

Unless the Root chakra is cleansed and its blockages removed, its corresponding center in the brain will always pull our consciousness back to sexual satisfaction. We can live the same life as we do live today or we can consciously choose to make it much better. Acknowledging this dissipation of our vital energy brings back into focus certain crucial areas of our lives which we might have previously avoided confronting or simply ignored due to lack of awareness. The sexual act is sacred and our ideals today have been corrupted to an extent where sexuality has taken many perverse forms taking us further away from the truth. The only way we can find meaning in all the madness is by turning within and withdrawing our awareness from the seductions of the sensory world, instead allowing this life force to rise up into our brain and open new dimensions previously unexplored. We always have the power to re-look and re-examine our values and belief system while progressing further on a spiritual path.

I came across this eye opening TedX video of Ran Gravieli speaking about why he stopped watching porn

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRJ_QfP2mhU]Even getting sexually involved with someone who you don’t know so well can result in unconsciously absorbing some of each others energies and can make one feel drained off their vital energy. Being in a dysfunctional relationship or having multiple sexual partners, one night stands etc … can result in contamination of ones Auric field allowing negative energies to slip in and take advantage of ones lowered frequency.

In ancient times, as suggested by texts such as the Kamasutra, the sexual act of union between the male and female was more about enjoying the journey than reaching the destination, which is to say the focus was on continuing the sexual act for a longer duration while delaying the orgasm, for as long as possible. Sex isn’t necessarily a bad thing, only when indulged in excessively one loses a lot of vital energy which makes us feel drained and hastens the aging process, while not providing the required flow of Prana (Life Force) to reach the brain where it is utilized to awaken our intuitive abilities by opening the Ajna Chakra.

Ajna Chakra“In the ordinary sexual orgasm you meet as two excited beings – tense, full of excitement, trying to unburden yourselves. The ordinary sexual orgasm looks like madness; the tantric orgasm is a deep, relaxing meditation.” ~ Osho
